I hate to break it to you, but if you haven’t learned already… GIRL, you need a specialist! Although endo is the second most common gynecological condition, average doctors and OBGYNs are not qualified to properly remove endo. With their lack of education you don’t even want them to think about trying.
One thing: YOU know YOUR body more than anyone else. If you are having UTI like symptoms with no UTI, awful periods, constant cramps all while getting back normal labwork and your doctor hasn’t mentioned endometriosis or pcos ….. RUN! Here are some red flags when meeting with providers:
Red Flags
- Tell you it can’t be found outside the uterus
- They only provide ablation during
laparoscopy
- Tells you any of these
cures endo and it’s growth:
•Horomonal Contraceptive
•IUD
•Pregnancy
•Menopause
•Diet
•Hysterectomy
- Tells you
you are too
young/old
- Refuse questions
- Dismissive
- Won’t
photograph/film your
procedure
*these may
relieve symptoms, but doesn’t cure*
“Cramping during menstruation is normal”
